Prayer Items for the Week of November 10, 2024:

*We are lifting up brother Joe Wong as he is going through surgery this morning for an injury sustained yesterday to his right leg.

1. Thank God for a peaceful Election Day. Pray for a conflict-free transition of power.

2. Pray for Pastor Philip and his family's transition.

3. Pray for Living Faith to stay on mission as we seek the Lord for our next steps.

4. Pray for Operations Christmas Child to bless many children with the gospel.

5. Pray for missionaries Ed and Kelly's ministry in Taiwan.

Announcements for November 10, 2024:

1. Welcome to Living Faith Baptist Church Sunday Worship! Following worship, we have Sunday School groups for all ages, please join us from 11 am to 12 noon at the education building.

2. Thank you to those who participated in the annual church clean-up yesterday. 

3. Today is the last day to submit your Christmas Shoeboxes to Carmen. 

4. Church-wide Thanksgiving Dinner is on November 23 (Sat) at 6:30 pm. Please sign up for a potluck or make a donation at the pop-up table outside of the sanctuary after worship.

5. Thanksgiving joint worship will be on November 24. Please make note that Sunday School begins at 9:30 am and worship begins at 11 am.

6. Stay tuned for more information about the Thanksgiving Day Breakfast hosted by Living Faith.

7. Pastor Search Committee please meet on Saturday, November 23 at 10 am at the chapel.

  Hello!  I am looking forward to connecting with you this Friday at the social.  May I ask for your help to prepare for the event?  Before we talk about food, let's talk about people.  I would suggest that we put emphasis on college and young adults (C-YA) this month.  Pastor Philip, Johnny, and I identified a large number of C-YA within Living Faith and we want them to feel loved by our church family! Our resident C-YA include : Jenna, Joanna, Daniel, Johnson, Theresa, Michael, Christine, Alex, Henry, Vanessa, Riley, Isaac, Grace. C-YA home for summer include : Nathan, Andy, Austin, Kyle, Alissa, Caleb (June 15), Michelle (end of June), and Rachel (July 8). Other C-YA we know include : Cici, Jalen, Abigail, Crista, Alex & Daniel Z, Jason, Cindy..., etc. See, there are lots of C-YA!  Who will you personally invite to the social (besides yourself)?    Now, let's talk about food!
